We are pleased to announce another benefits enhancement for members in plans that participate in our pre-paid legal benefits!
UFCW Local 152 works hard to negotiate improvements even between contracts. Our pre-paid legal services plan helps our members in both troubling and joyful times in their personal lives. It’s no secret that private legal services are expensive; therefore, we feel that having trustworthy, discounted counsel is invaluable.
O’Brien, Belland, & Bushinsky, the legal provider for the UFCW Local 152 Legal Services Plan, has provided legal guidance for thousands of Local 152 members and their dependents over the last two decades. They have graciously agreed to the following enhancements effectively immediately:
- Family Law Enhancement: The firm is enhancing the family law benefit by increasing coverage up to 50 hours per matter for all family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and related issues. This is a 25% increase!
- Municipal Court Enhancement: Members will now have coverage for two municipal court matters per year, an increase from one matter. This includes all motor vehicle moving violations, driving while under the influence offenses, disorderly person offenses, and most simple assault charges.
Best of all, these improvements have been done at no extra cost to our members!
