On Wednesday, April 2nd, more than forty workers at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Oceanview in Ocean View, New Jersey, united to ratify a new union contract!

In addition to substantial across-the-board wage increases, the Autumn Lake Healthcare members will receive increases every six months for the life of the three-year contract. They also received a one-time, tiered longevity bonus dependent on their years of service. Finally, the committee was able to maintain the affordable union health insurance.

Congratulations to our members and those on the negotiating committee who bargained for this strong contract! The negotiating committee included Collective Bargaining Representative Chad Brooks, Director of Field Services Peggy Kelly, and Shop Stewards Delilah Warner and Bobbi Ajisola.
