Recently, President Daniel Ross appeared alongside his wife, Elizabeth, on Episode 211 of This is Infertility, a podcast by Progyny.

Progyny was recently approved as a benefit enhancement for members who are participants in the Local 152 Health and Welfare, Tri-State Health & Welfare, and UFCW Health & Welfare Funds.

Through Progyny, members now have access to family-building solutions leveraging the latest technologies. This benefit helps cover the cost of individual fertility services, tests, and treatments.

On Episode 211, “UFCW Local 152: How Personal Pain Led to Life Changing Benefits,” President and Mrs. Ross shared their personal infertility journey, and the emotional and financial toll it took on their lives when they decided to expand their family.

“Everyone who wants the opportunity to have a family should be afforded that opportunity,” said President Ross.

Infertility is physically and emotionally draining. Having infertility coverage added to our health and welfare funds was an important initiative for President Ross so it does not need to be financially draining, too.
