Fountain Springs at Cape May Workers Ratify New Union Contract – 4/02/2026

A member from Fountain Springs at Cape May voting at the ratification meeting, 4/2/2026.

On Thursday, April 2, more than fifty workers at Fountain Springs at Cape May, a nursing and rehabilitation center in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, ratified a new union contract! Congratulations!

Fountain Springs at Cape May recently acquired the facility in Cape May, which was previously Oceana Nursing and Rehabilitation. The Company agreed to formally recognize the employee’s seniority from their previous Employer.

All members at Fountain Springs received across-the-board wage increases. The three-year agreement also expanded funeral leave.

Congratulations to these members! This contract would not have been possible without the union negotiating committee, which included Director of Collective Bargaining Louis Faiola, Bargaining Representative Chad Brooks, Director of Field Services Peggy Kelly, and committee member Devon Ford.

UFCW Local 152 proudly represents workers at Fountain Springs at Cape May, including the workers in maintenance, dietary, housekeeping, nurses’ aides, and more.
