Members at Our Lady’s Center Ratify New Union Contract – 10/28/2024

Members voting at the Our Lady's Center ratification meeting in 2024.

On Monday, October 28, approximately eighty UFCW Local 152 members who work at Our Lady’s Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare ratified a new union contract!

The three-year agreement improves the lives of our members at Our Lady’s in various ways.

First, the committee was able to maintain affordable healthcare for the entire membership. Everyone with at least six months of service will receive wage increases annually, retroactive to July 2024, in addition to a tiered, one-time longevity increase based on years of service beginning at five years. Finally, the company agreed to lower the service length needed to accrue vacation days, providing our members with a better work/life balance.

Congratulations to our members and to our negotiating committee! This included Collective Bargaining Representative Chad Brooks, Union Representative Peter White, and Shop Stewards Barbara Duncan and Gloria Colon.

UFCW Local 152 proudly represents about eighty workers at Our Lady’s Center for Rehabilitation in Pleasantville, New Jersey. Our members work in various departments, including grounds, maintenance, dietary, housekeeping, and many more.
