More Than 50 Workers at Rich Products Unanimously Ratify New Union Contract – 5/07/2022

On Saturday, May 7th, 2022, more than fifty union members from Rich Products in Vineland, New Jersey unanimously ratified a new union contract!

With the implementation of the new four-year contract, our members will receive many improvements.

The 2022 Negotiating Committee for Rich Products.

Firstly, wages were significantly increased across the board, in addition to an improved Crew Leader and premium rates. Additionally, all members will now receive Martin Luther King, Jr’s Birthday as a paid holiday.

The new contract introduces a boot purchasing credit, where members may now choose from a pre-approved list of boots to receive from the company at no cost. Finally, bereavement leave was greatly expanded.

Congratulations to our members on this monumental win! Special congratulations to the union Negotiating Committee on a job well done. On the committee was Director of Collective Bargaining Dan Ross, Union Representative Jose Echevarria, Shop Stewards Juan Walker, Juanita Cruz, and Abelino Serrano.

UFCW Local 152 proudly represents more than fifty workers at Rich Products. At the Vineland plant, our members work primarily in the production of Italian meatballs under the Casa Di Bertacchi name.
