On Friday, January 18th, UFCW Local 152 members at Reed and Perrine in Tennent, New Jersey ratified a new, three-year contract.

With the newly ratified contract, Reed and Perrine members will now receive many additional perks to their existing contract. This includes a wage increase each year for the lifetime of the contract, healthcare contributions by the company including an increase in maintenance of benefits, and an increase in pension contributions over the life of the contract.

Congratulations to our members and Committee, which included Director of Collective Bargaining Larry Lucente and Collective Bargaining Representative Ron Whille.

UFCW Local 152 represents about 10 members at Reed and Perrine, which has been open since 1916. R&P has grown from a small regional supplier to a Northeast supplier shipping from Maine to Georgia to Chicago, offering products such as fertilizers, road salts, and landscaping supplies. Our members work as mixers, material handlers, truck drivers, and warehouse workers.
